This was the first time we were invited to compete in the VisitMesa.com Basketball Challenge. I could not be more pleased for the tournament was beneficial for our program. The competition is top-notch with Marc A. Beasley and Dr. Steve Hogen doing a wonderful job with the organization and promotion of the event. VMBC is quickly turning into one of the top holiday tournaments in the West and we're fortunate to be a participant.

We have been very fortunate to participate in many of the top tournaments in the nation. However, I cannot stop talking to my coaching buddies about the VisitMesa.com Basketball Challenge! In my opinion, it is one of the best-organized tournaments we have ever participated in. Our staff, players, family and friends who traveled to the tournament are all in agreement that it was a fantastic event. The hotel, practice/shoot-a-round access, and supportive atmosphere within the community was definitely remarkable. Marc A. Beasley and Dr. Steve Hogen go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. I don't know how Marc and Steve do it, but they do an amazing job! We hope to be asked back in the future!

We have been fortunate to play in tournaments from the Beach Ball Classic (Myrtle Beach,SC) to the MaxPreps (San Diego, CA). The VistMesa.com Basketball Challenge was the best organized and as well-run as those national events. Great facilities in the hotel & gym, terrific local attractions including a visit to the Grand Canyon. Plus, the competition for our team was outstanding. Tournament Co-Directors Marc A. Beasley and Dr. Steve Hogen run an A+ event. Well worth the effort to get there from South Carolina and we hope to return in the future!

The VisitMesa.Com Basketball Challenge is without a doubt the best event that we as a program have attended. The VMBC has provided us the opportunity to compete against outstanding programs from around the nation and helped us to prepare for the second half of our season. The commitment that Marc A. Beasley and Dr. Steve Hogen have made to providing a highly-organized event with great hospitality and excellent officiating, makes the VMBC our first choice when planning our in-state tournaments.

The VisitMesa.com Basketball Challenge was a great experience for our team, coaches, and families that attended. Marc did a great job of researching the teams to allow for competitive games. The team sponsors were great to help facilitate eating spots, assisting with shoot-a-rounds, and help getting around town. Our team will benefit greatly from being included in such a quality field of teams. I would definitely recommend this tournament to any team that wants to prepare for state-level tournaments.

The VisitMesa.com Basketball Challenge was very good for our program. We played great competition, the games were well-officiated, and the tournament was run great. The tournament committee also made sure we had everything we needed from shoot-arounds to the service project our kids did. Our players really liked the syle of play and the Mesa-area as a whole. We look forward to returning to the tournament in the future.

"Our basketball program has played in events all over the country and I can assure you that the VisitMesa.com Basketball Challenge is second to none. Our players thoroughly enjoyed our experience and the competition was outstanding. The tournament was well organized, the officiating was top notch, and the commitment and professional attitude of all of the Tournament Officials was quite evident. All of these factors contribute to make this one of the premier events in the country. A first class experience provided by top rate basketball people."

"Our team has played in the Arizona Basketball Challenge for the past two years. All of our experiences in the tournament have been positive and good for
the team. That doesn't mean that we have won every game. Quite the
contrary, we have taken a few losses, but they have been to very good
teams that forced us to improve, even in defeat.
The tournament is very well-run. It attracts high quality teams who
play a variety of styles of basketball, the crowds are good, and the
hospitality is pleasant. Simply put, it is a great tournament, very well run and a terrific
experience for our team.”

We, at Cleveland Heights, played in the first Arizona Basketball Challenge (2007) and were very impressed, not just with the tournament field, but the structure of the tournament and the quality of people that made things run smoothly . We were treated first class by Steve and Marc and could not ask anything more of the host tournament committee. My family was able to attend every game and now the Mesa area has become one of my family’s favorite vacation spots.
