There is no championship game per se, but the final two games of the 2008 ABC Tournament will feature four unbeaten teams in tournament play.
Tonight's 7 p.m. game features Federal Way, Wash and Goodyear Estrella Foothills. Who will win? Federal Way is led by inside threat Cole Dickerson, who helped rally the Eagles pas Dobson on Monday afternoon. Estrella Foothills has scoring machine Corey Hawkins, son of former NBA standout Hersey Hawkins, who has scored 35 and 43 points in his last two tournament games. Hawkins can score from anywhere on the floor as he did against Red Mountain on Monday night.
The tourney's final game tonight at 8:30 is all local with Highland and Mountain View squaring off. Highland lost its only game of the season in late November. Mountain View is yet to lose. Highland is averaging 89 points a game in its three tourney wins; Mountain View is allowing 46 per game. Expect a barn-burner and a clash of styles. Highland's firepower vs. Mountain View's tenacious defense. A fitting end to year two of the ABC.
