Following the great success of the MLK Basketball Classic, Directors Steve Hogen and Marc Beasley came up with the idea of creating a basketball tournament that features the best teams from Arizona mixed with at least four teams from outside the state. The goal is to create another well organized first class event that is fan and media friendly, while being responsive to the needs of the teams and coaches and providing high levels of competition.

Steve and Marc, along with local businessman John McLelland and Mountain View High School Athletic Director David Hines will host the 2007 tournament at Mountain View High School from December 26-29, 2007.

Tournament Details:
* 3-person officiating crews
* 2 - 16 minute halves
* Pool Play - there will no official champion - Saturday match-ups will be determined by the tournament committee.
* DVD's will be available to each team and for purchase by fans.
* Game stats and photos available on-line.

We are excited about this years tournament. While in its first year of operation, we already feature not only the best teams, but also the best individual players in the state.
